Our Status and Mission

New Hope/Anger Management, Inc. is a not for profit, independent corporation teaching a method of Anger Management. We are educational and benevolent by nature, with 501(c)3 status. Our mission is to provide education, and to aid individuals and families, providing tools to help them build a positive and healthy outlook on life.

Our Seminars

Our seminar is presented in  two hour segments, once a week for 4 weeks.  We cover areas dealing with recognizing anger and stress related problems, such as self responsibility, forgiveness, defense mechanisms, building a safety net, journaling,  how anger cycles operate, and how to deal with Rage. We use a teaching guide to Anger Management that we have developed.

Time Management is taught in our seminars and stressed to our individual students. This refers to the time between an event and the reaction to that event. Usually the time before the event is highly emotional. Issues are not thought through. We work very hard to impress on the person the idea that emotional reaction can be harmful to them, as well as other people around them, and that they must stop and recognize what is happening. We also emphasize that they make thoughtful and healthy decisions so they do not repeat the old anger action pattern they have followed in the past.

Who We Work With

As a component program, we have created a model that will enhance your organization's ongoing program. We have been teaching Anger Management classes since 1994 to recovery centers, groups dealing with drugs, alcohol and other addictions, churches and individual organizations. Since 1996 we have been teaching many who feel that they would like to learn how to get their anger in control. We accept people who are court ordered as well as those who are referred by attorney's and other agencies.

Our Record

To date, we have conducted classes throughout the State of Florida and at our teaching center in West Palm Beach, Fl. Our interactive study groups consist of between approximately 5 to 8 students.
